Privacy Policy

This policy explains how SoftwareAge ("we", "us") handles personal data collected through this website, in line with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

What we collect

When you use the contact form we collect the information you provide: your name, company, email address and message. If you accept analytics cookies, we also collect anonymized usage data through Google Analytics (see below). We don't use advertising or retargeting cookies, and we don't sell or share your data with third parties for marketing.

Cookies & analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how many people visit this site, which pages they view and which country they're visiting from, which helps us improve the site. Analytics only runs if you accept it in the cookie banner shown on your first visit; nothing is loaded and no cookie is set before that. IP addresses are anonymized, and analytics data isn't combined with your name or contact details.

You can withdraw consent at any time using the "Cookie preferences" link in the footer. Google processes this data under its own privacy policy, available at policies.google.com/privacy.

Why we collect it

We use contact-form data only to respond to your inquiry and, if you choose to work with us, to prepare a proposal. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in answering requests you send us. Analytics runs only on the legal basis of your consent.

How long we keep it

Inquiries that do not lead to a collaboration are deleted within 12 months. Data related to a contract is kept for as long as required by law. Analytics data is retained according to our Google Analytics account settings (currently 14 months) before being automatically deleted.

Who processes it

Form submissions are delivered by our email-forwarding provider (Web3Forms) and stored in our email system. Analytics data (only with your consent) is processed by Google Ireland Limited / Google LLC. We never sell or share your data with third parties for marketing.

Your rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by writing to softwareage.contact@gmail.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority.
